Zeynep & Baran

We wanted to create a video that felt romantic yet epic. While planning the shoot we decided on Lake Como, Italy. With its breathtaking scenery and very classical architecture, it was the perfect place to bring Zeynep and Baran’s love to screen. The video needed to feel timeless to complement the couple's personalities. Zeynep had a good idea of how she wanted the video. She wanted to look and feel of the movie The Tourist with Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp.

We achieved the timeless feeling by having a lot of close intimate shots of the couple. The water was kept a rich turquoise colour to compliment the surrounding browns. Adding an emotional Italian song with a slightly ruff voice allowed the video to take the viewer on a trip around Italy.

The wedding was set in the grand Savoy Hotel in Central London. The hotel has a very prestigious feel as one side has a beautiful theatre while the other side looks to the river. There is a lot of gold and detailing set next to classic fittings, such as the famous red lift. While planning there their wedding shoot we decided on the bar as it had a very large gold curved wall that when lit would add so much to Zeynep’s skin tones.

There was so much to capture during the day. A lot of planning had gone into the decor and accessories. As the wedding was set so close to Christmas the hotel had many festive details. One such detail was a snow machine outside the hotel. It added an amazing layer to the couples photographs.
